Reflection
Although the focus of this project was to create a 2-color poster, I began designing this project in black and white. Initially I didn't know what colors I wanted to use or how I was going to place them. I’m also not the biggest fan of 3D effects and gradients in graphic design, but since they were requirements of the project I wanted to incorporate them in a way that complemented the aesthetic of the project. I chose to apply 3D effects to only the camper to highlight its temporary presence. The ambiguity of the mountains/trees and the 2D look of the rest of the scenery was intended to define the separation of nature and human objects.
